Noise has become a nuisance to more and more people – but you don’t have to put up with uncomfortable and detrimental noise levels with the risk of hearing damage any longer. SoundEar gives you the ultimate noise abatement tool.
SoundEar is a is a visual noise indicator, with an elegant and compact award winning design which can be fitted easily to any wall and is extremely user friendly, ideal for use in your office, classroom, pub, workshop - or anywhere that noise levels vary. Uses standard 3 pin 13A socket via a transformer.
The SoundEar's built in microphone displays a green light to indicate that it is monitoring. As soon as a pre-defined noise limit is approached, a yellow warning signal appears. When the noise limit is exceeded, the device signals by lighting up the red ear and the word WARNING.
This clear and unmistakable noise warning is easily understood by children and adults so that immediate action can be taken to do something about the noise.
The noise limit at which this warning signal appears can be set at any level from 40dB to 115dB, by turning the dial at the back of the device, making it suitable for all types of environment. The range of settings represents all noise levels from examination halls to rock concerts.
SoundEar®2000 is well suited to all those who require a flexible noise limit setting e.g. children’s day care centres, after-school care centres, youth clubs, schools, music academies, concert halls, discotheques, pubs, offices, hospital neo natal and intensive care units and industry.

The SoundEar11 is approved according to IEC 60601-1-2 ( Medical electronic equipment ). Furthermore it is water and dust resistant according to IP 42, which makes it possible to use the SoundEar for outdoor use. There’s an output for external SoundEar microphone

Ongoing noise measurement, with SoundLog®.
The SoundLog® data logging plug-in is a device which can be attached to your SoundEar 2000 to monitor and record sound levels over a period of time. .
The logger stores the average noise level every five minutes for up to four weeks.
Data can be downloaded to any PC, enabling the recorded measurements to be displayed graphically and printed for future reference.
